This seminar is designed for Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue personnel. Organizations that would like to establish a Bloodhound unit or to advance or continue their unit’s proficiency.

This seminar is recognized by the criminal justice academies of Virginia. Virginia law enforcement attendees will receive their required in-service credits.

Instructors for this seminar have instructed all over the world. These individuals instruct with the Virginia Bloodhound Search and Rescue Association, as well as with some well-known volunteer search and rescue organizations.

This seminar provides classroom instruction; however, the emphasis will be on practical training in the field. Teams will be run on real life scenarios depending on the team’s capabilities. These scenarios will be conducted in urban settings as well as in wilderness settings. Or just basic training to start the team, if that is what is needed.
